My Word Journey on SORROW

1828 Dictionary: The uneasiness or pain of mind which is produced by the loss of any good. or of frustrated hopes of good, or expected loss of happiness; to grieve; to be sad. I rejoice not that ye were made sorry, but the ye sorrowed to repentance.
Dictionary.com: Distress caused by loss, affliction, disappointment, etc.; grief, sadness, or regret.
LDS.org: For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
                     -2 Corinthians 7:10
For I know that such will sorrow for the calamity of the house of Israel; yea, they will sorrow for the destruction of this people; they willsorrow that this people had not repented that they might have been clasped in the arms of Jesus.
                     -Moroni 5:11
Quotes: Good night, good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say good night till it be morrow.
                     -William Shakespeare
Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow. It empties today of its strength.
                     -Corrie Ten Boom

My Definition: Pure anguish and regret. It can suffocate Joy, if you let it. But, with Christ, Sorrow will never overpower.
