My Word Journey on BALANCE

1828 Dictionary: Figuratively, an impartial state of the mind, in deliberating; or a just estimate of the reasons and arguments on.

Dictionary.com: Mental steadiness or emotional stability; habit of calm behavior, judgment, etc.

LDS.org:  A false balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight.
                         -Proverbs 11:1
Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
                         -Proverbs 62:9
Quotes: Man maintains his balance, poise, and sense of security only as he is moving forward.
-Maxwell Maltz
Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance, order, rhythm and harmony.
-Thomas Merton

My Definition: It’s like a scale, between good and bad, or not even good and bad, but also good and better, and better, and best. We need to have balance in all things.
